Follow the close battles in Degner
Only one week since the previous edition so we only have a few updates. We made close racing easier to track, and introducing more control over what you see. Here are three things to try next time you open Degner.
🇲🇾 Try it alongside the race
This one is a strange week: Bahrain GP in Malaysia. The race is about to start so why not open Degner alongside your broadcast on your second screen. You can tune the timing with the delay controls (video feeds typically are behind 20-40 seconds, depending on our source).
🔥 Find the close battles
The new Close Running view highlights groups of cars whose gaps stay below one second for at least 30 seconds. Brackets on the timing board show where those groups are, the new tab for Close Running shows more details, and you can add a whole group to your focused drivers in one click.
Available on desktop and mobile. No account required.
📈 Keep the charts you actually use
You can now hide unused charts and panels from Settings, alongside the existing options for arranging your dock. Keep the things you check most often, and use Reset layout whenever you want everything back.
Free account required to hide charts and panels.
🔠Keep your drivers in sight
Focused drivers are now easier to pick out across the board and charts. Driver labels are more consistent too, and the Race Chart has clearer labels, restored gap-to-leader lines and a position view that starts from the grid.
A few smaller improvements
- Schedule remembers the series you follow, with cross-device sync when signed in.
- Championship points ties now use the official finishing-position countback.
- Added missing circuit outlines and expanded translations in Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and Hungarian.
- The timing board and track map use less CPU.
Thanks for using Degner.
